Der Trailer zu "Rupture - Überwinde deine Ängste" schürt ebenso, wie die gesamte Vermarktung, falsche Erwartungen. Es handelt sich bei dem vorliegenden, visuell sehr hochwertig umgesetzten, aber zu Recht nicht unumstrittenen Science-Fiction-Thriller im 2.39:1-Bildformat um keinen Torture-Horrorfilm oder ein Creature-Movie.

A positive of the movie is that the reason is kept far into the story, and even then unwrapped very slowly. The title of the film is rupture, but the reason why is not going to be guessed until it is disclosed, and even then the reason still obscured. This approach helped sell the movie to me, as it is not a run of the mill story.
